About

Never Alone. This website is dedicated to passing a bill in the Massachusetts state legislature that will ensure at least one person is allowed to be in the hospital or other health care setting, with a patient, at all times. This includes private and public hospitals and health care settings. Whether there is a national pandemic or not.

This bill also seeks to pass a law allowing clergy and chaplains the ability to administer last rites and spiritual support as prescribed by their faith, with no stipulations.

Patients need an advocate and the comfort of a familiar person, while at the same time, relieving some of the burden on healthcare staff. Allowing at least one individual to assist a patient should be a basic human right at all times.
